Teaching
What I like about working as a sailing instructor is the ever changing challenge involved in working with people. There are as many ways of teaching how to tack a boat, as there are people on the planet: no course is ever the same, and it is very hard to get bored.
My first experience as an instructor was at Courageous Sailing Center, when I was eighteen. Since then I’ve thought at my local sailing school in Italy (Circolo Nautico del Mugello) and at Orza Scuola Vela, and I’ve done Optimist coaching at Unione Sportiva Quarto.
In November 2019 I became a Cruising Instructor for the RYA, after a very interactive course at the UKSA in Cowes, Isle of Wight. A new step in my personal growth as a sailor and a an instructor.
